We are Having a Baby

Prenatal Support

Preparation for parenthood

Our groups provide community and support to soon-to-be parents.

Having a baby is one of the biggest and most important of all life experiences, yet it can feel overwhelming.

Our meetings provide a shared space for talking about the unique kind of challenges that expectant parents, many of whom are 'foreigners' in Geneva, face.

Whether it is the challenge of navigating a different health service in a foreign language, fears about how to care for a new baby while also juggling work, or just missing family and friends, the meetings provide an opportunity to connect with, and help support, others who are also undergoing a momentous life transition.

It is a forum for sharing knowledge and creating a sense of community for you and your soon-to-be expanding family.

Research shows that when mothers and fathers feel supported, their children thrive.

It is as simple and as difficult as that!

If cost is an issue, please feel free to speak to us. We aim to open our service to everyone, regardless of means.
